This person will work closely with the Operations team, product development team and customers to build a customer training strategy, lead the development of materials and execute training as necessitated by the product. The training program will have a primary focus on Exostars products and capabilities but may include other related industry topics. You will partner with a variety of internal and external subject matter experts to identify knowledge gaps, define training needs, and design, organize and manage the delivery of training curriculum via a training website (Confluence based). In addition, you will be required to create content from scratch (independently and/or with some subject matter expertise support) or use customized third party material to provide our customers and employees with the knowledge and skills to fully utilize Exostars products and services. Classes/curriculum will include technical product training, and other content as identified by this position or management. Your day, if you join us: Essential Job Functions Maximizing Exostars product adoption and business integration by helping to determine and solve for training needs by building and/or refining the customer training strategy for Exostar and its customers Leading the upkeep and refinement of our training content on our confluence customer training website Studying customer and company performance reports and conferring with managers to assist via training mediums Providing product knowledge building of staff through conducting training sessions and or content coaching Improving training effectiveness by suggesting new approaches and techniques Identifying and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to assist with the content development and delivery of training programs Using blended learning strategies to design training and organization development interventions Responsible for project management of training initiatives from initial planning, design/development through implementation. Maintaining project plans to ensure deadlines are met Analyzing training evaluations, determining trends and areas of improvement, presenting recommendations to management and implementing approved changes Developing cross-training opportunities through maintaining policy and procedures Conducting training needs analysis and providing input on present/future training requirements and/or performance improvement solutions Collaborating with internal groups to determine on-going training needs. Working to measure effectiveness of all training programs through performance metrics, testing, and qualitative data Delivering presentations to Exostar managers and executives about training needs and results Developing a standardized approach to technical/product training for customers and departments within company Collaborating with key stakeholders such as executive leadership, directors of product teams and other leadership/managers within the organization for product enhancements, customer implementations or continuous improvement of operating model Developing and refining train-the-trainer programs as required Coordinating and managing logistics associated with learning programs You meet our must haves for this role if you have: Training strategy development with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience At least 5 years in a leading position and managing people Experience with training content management system(s); Atlassians Confluence Extensive experience in the development and delivery of training Proven experience in designing multiple training curriculums simultaneously while conducting/supporting delivery events in a corporate setting Ability to lead and monitor the full-training life cycle Knowledgeable in management software Sound decision-making and organizational skills Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills, including group facilitation and presentation skills Experience in Instructional Design Experience with a mix of technical training and development and project management roles with exposure to working with moderately complex content and delivering training across multiple delivery modalities (traditional classroom, online classroom, self-paced e-Learning modules) Working knowledge of instructional design principles, technologies and concepts; ability to engage audiences in learning topics Strong project management and customer centric attitude; strong MS Office experience.
